Adoration is the performance team of Love2dance Academy and have been established since 2019! We have our amazing staff to thank for all our success that we’ve had thus far, but most importantly our creative director Caprice Verdejo without her Adoration would be dust and we wouldn’t have someone who thinks of every miniscule detail to the core, so for that we thank you. As a team we have grown so much and achieved so much in such a short time we always thank God for the gifts he bestowed upon us the love of dance!

Adoration has been seen all around the Winslow Township community for events like Juneteenth and Family Day at the New Brooklynn Park in Sicklerville, NJ as well as support multiple business throughout the town. We have also been invited to perform at the 6abc Dunkin Thanksgiving Day Parade and The Odunde Festival in Philadelphia. We have competed in the Sheer Elite Dance Competition and Convention in 2022 and 2023, this year we advanced to the Sheer Elite Nationals.

We came back victorious with two 1st place trophies, one for a tap piece called “BurnItUp” Choreographed by Talicia Potter-Ross and second one for a Hip-Hop piece called “School of Hard Knocks” Choreographed by Aaminah Abdur-Rahman. Our second-place trophy and Specialty award for Sheer Sensation was a Contemporary Piece called “I Did Something Bad” Choreographed by Johneta Williams

Our biggest number was created by our amazing hip-hop teacher Ms. Aaminah Abdur-Rahman; the piece “School of Hard Knocks” exudes who Ms. Aaminah is as a teacher, dancer, and choreographer. The vision for this piece was all hands on deck and our powerful trio pushed into gear and got these pre-professionals ready! With all the polish we applied and the fight and dedication of these children, they were named the NEW 2023 Sheer Elite Judges Choice Champions!!!
